Just a little note on my adventure.

Vickon picked me up at the airport around 1:30pm and we stopped at a tag agency to do the title work. From there went to Vickon's house and saw the bike. Got suited up and we were off about 4:00pm. He escorted me out to the highway on his 900ss. Great looking 900. I rode about 130 miles and hit a thunder storm and road construction. It was dark and raining so decided to call it a night at 8:30pm. Got up the next morning and did about 510 miles from Fort Pierce, FL to Columbia, SC. Really started getting colder the more I rode North. This day I rode from about 8:30am to 5:00pm. I wanted to put in some miles so my last day riding would be minimal. The next day I wake about 8am but don't really have to be on the road right away and besides it is 36 degrees out. So, I wait to about 10:00am so it warms up a bit cause I figured I've only got about 4 hours worth of riding to get to my final destination. Go out and start the bike and it cranks real slow, try push starting but that no work. So, I went looking for jump start. Found someone to jump start the bike, took the seat off and noticed the battery was almost dry. Filled the battery up with some water, jump started and off I went. Another 240 miles later I was where I needed to be, Danville, VA. A friend was meeting me there so we could do a trackday at VIR. Loaded the Paso into the trailer and hauled it back to NJ in comfort.

All is well.

I know this thread is old, but what the hell, here I go.

I have a 88 Paso750 with a NCR 2 into 1 along with Mikuni Flatslides. I notice an issue where when I move the bike after it as sat for several days it will dump about 1/4 cup of gas out one of the vent tubes (possible overfill tube). This happens and the rest of the day the bike does not leak any fuel. If it is ridden daily this issue does not reappear. It seam to be ambient heating and cooling cycle. To try and battle this, I just order a set on monster 750 intakes along with a set of monster 750 downdraft carbs.

Do you have any pictures of your Mikuni setup? Any part number for 1 into 2 throttle cable required? My think my fuel leakage may be also a result of the angle of the carbs. I would love to see a photo of someones flatslide setup.

Scuse my ignorance Wilbur( everyone else is used to it ) , but what is a "euro" tail light ? I am ( slowly ) collecting spare parts and have just scored a tail light assy but am now thinking" ooooh , a euro .... that sounds better ". Probly pay to keep an eye on that battery water , my paso seemed to get thru a lot of battery water untill I twigged and sorted the charging voltage ( was just over 15 v)

the much ballyhooied euro tail light assembly,illegal most everywhere else in the world not that many seem to care
