Only as time allows, The weber issues are almost resolved, at least on the 906.My next home project will be a cheap way to remap the digiplex. May be you can help,I have been trying to access this site in your country with no luck so far. If you find yourself with some"free" time could you give it a try?

I have tried to access to prograle.org website, but it seems not working.
But, it does still work the "cache copy" of google.

tried,all the map files appear to be in the download section which is not cached that I can find, maybe dead link or up and down on someone's pc so hit and miss.May be a dead link as the 2s is an old product so we may be on our own here. Thanks for trying

Thanks for trying. I got on their e-mail list. Looks to be mostly about Lancia. Lancia like Fiat did use the 2s in some of their early cars so maybe there is some mapping info to be had there.

I reinstalled the FIM chip yesterday, opened the airbox kid, and replaced the plugs. No dynos or tracks around here, but there are some long winding ranch roads with no traffic. Went out for a 30 mile ride, 10 miles at 100 + mph. Stopped at a church and let it cool down and took looked at the vertical plug. Burning quite clean. Previously it had been on the rich side. The bike has a quite a bit more torque, as wheel stands are now effortless it seems. Needles to say, I am quite impressed with the performance. I think my next mod will be a Nichols flywheel. .

Bike now has close t0 25k miles showing. Probably in the next 5k or so should it be due for a top end job?. I have 120psig in both cylinders, but do have some slight oil consumption. Maybe valve guide seals. Sounds like a winter project.

Just my 2 cents.
I read somewhere on these Ducati post that lighten flywheels and lighter clutches, cam belt sprockets and such that a lot places sell didn't add up to much as far as adding horse power. The article showed the numbers from test about what the gains were and basically you and I would never notice the difference.

such mods are strictly for the track where 1/10 of a second can be the difference between winning and coming in second. On the street it will just reduce the smoothness of the engine and decrease the reliability and longevity. with m2c now we have almost a nickle

Anyone will notice a lightened flywheel, f sure!
Makes the engine livelier, remarkably makes engine rev up & down faster.
Demands a little more throttle control.
And it does not add any power....
Flywheel act as a torque memory & a engine pulses smoothener so a heavier one is
easier on the engine but I doubt any noticeable engine damage from a light one.
I like it.

you will also and mostly notice a less reliable and less smooth idle as well as an increased tendency to kick back while starting. If ya just gotta go that way
Get the nichols aluminum flywheel. Shaves off 2 pounds, a big change. The 4v guys swear by them. Most of the 2v guys end up putting the stock flywheel back after a short time unless the bike lives on the track.
They all say the biggest plus side difference is in the bikes handling. less rotational inertia (think gyroscope) makes it easier to change directions.

I was just thinking that it is an easy modification, but maybe I should just leave well enough alone. I felt as though I was on a roll here with the bike now running quite well.

I take some weight away from original flywheel by lathe... easy, and cheap. with good results, as its not so wise to put too light flywheel to street bike...

They really are beautys, and only 500 bucks for the pair, no clutch just the basket
