Do LEDbulbs work good in indicators, do they spread light to the side properly since I
guess they don`t use the reflector much? Or is the orange glass prisma spreading it correctly?

What about xenon type/look frontlight bulbs, do they actually give a better light on the road?
Couldn`t care less about the look, icey blue looks unfriendly, but all improvement in lightning is
welcome as we all know!

At least to cars those XENON kits are very expensive..... But there are surely some kits available for motorbikes also... I dont know they prices.

I mean xenon look bulbs, not actual xenon conversion.

I know of a guy that is selling HID light kits for Ducs that cost about $125. The draw much less electric and work VERY well in the 900SS headlight. I would assume from this that they would be an improvement for the Paso headlight.

Is it a xenon conversion or what?

I have ordered a single set will let you know how long it takes to arrive and what it is like to fit.

My new headlight bulb from China arrived today very well packaged there is a lot too it and it come with very clear instructions I will let you know how I get on when I fit it - I shall first try and take a night time photo of the present standard light fitted and then of the new one so it may take a few days before you know what the result is.

Some guys here have ordered those and they seems to work but one have lost bulb and i remembering something, that they have to connect such way, that engine must run and THEN You put lights on... There was some problem with starting peak (battery) if light was on, when starting engine... Can it be, that battery voltage goes too low, when starting and they make some "missfire" to HId light?... or something similar... Let us know result and modell(what U ordered), so if they function well, then its not so expensive set to gett better lights..... Btw, did U have to pay any tolls, VAT, etc from china product, cause stuff came to EU area in Your homeland???

LED bulbs f indicators have a top layer w 18 diodes f straight beam & second layer is 6 for side illumination.

Okay I have fitted the the bulb and relevent equipment, it is a very easy set up and very straight forward. the results are shown below. I have placed my comments generally on fitting below the photo's hope this helps folks.

Pictures have been taken with the bike about 10ft / 3mtrs from my Garage Door the fairings and screen are off the bike. The engine is not running and this is on a fully charged battery.

Photo 1 is of the standard side light position one on the switch - I can't do anything with this it is not part of the upgrade kit. So maybe an LED light may be required here.

This was taken with a Finepix Digital Camera A920 at night on the Landscape Mode without the flash.

With regards to the kit. It is a lot brighter and the light is very white. What you can't see in the photo is that the area ahead is also bathed in a much more natural daytime like glow.

I tried to take a head long view but sadly my local road is bathed in streetlights and I would have had to much to move like a van and three cars off the drive and then I still can't see me getting a decent set of photo's shot.

However just for the record the upgrade does give a much longer beam of light ahead of you.

The cable supplied is only just long enough but then again I am happier with that rather than having to find somewhere to tuck wire away.

Only quibble and this may be due to what I may of done when fitting, is that the light bulb clatters in the headlight when changing from dip to main.

Fitting time is about 35 minutes plus time stripping off the fairings and removing tank.

Not sure on riding though as I am at present stripping the bike for a winter rebuild.

Another thing to note is that should the item fail you need only remove the bulb and replace with the standard bulb as there is no cutting or removal of any part of the wire loom.

Personally I like it and consider it worth the money spent.

Just for the record have started engine with lights on and off apart from usual blips I can't see a problem - having said that I never normally ever start with any lights on so I can't see this being an issue for me.

I have a 907ie by the way - I know this is in the 750 Forum but I can't imagine there being much difference except bike voltage etc.

Regarding delivery these came direct in the post with about 300 Chinese stamps attached I didn't have to pay anything extra regarding tax/vat/customs charges.
