Sorry to hear about your mishap and I'm glad you are leanign toward repairing it.

What are all the parts you need? I believe I have most of what you will need....

As a partial list of items I have as spares that you may need and I would actually like to part with...

1) Rear brake mounting bracket
2) Rear brake rotor
3) Rear caliper
4) Rear wheel
5) Rear swingarm

I've got a bunch of parts. Just let me know what you need.

Well, she isn't that bad. The rh side mirror snapped completely off, but the fairing looks intact. Rear brake pedal mount is bent and lever is bent, rear caliper mount is gone, rear caliper is damaged and the master cylinder may have issues now, some chips on leading edge of gas tank, and there is something wrong with shifting, can't seem to find neutral. Something may have gone out of adjustment. Clutch works, so that means something in the gearbox.

I really need to find someone besides dealership in Indiana.

Come on folks, there has to be someone who knows Ducs in Indiana besides the d___ dealers.

Don't rush, mate. Take it easy. You'll find help, either locally, or on here.

Wow, that's quite an ordeal. I still have yet to get mine on the road, but now I'll make double sure all the bolts are tight. Good luck on your descision and heal well. Don't let this deter you from riding in the future.

Unfortunately there really does not seem to be anyone besides the dealer to work on these things locally.

Unbelievable.

Oh well, no rush.

will need a new rear caliper hangar and rear master cylinder and the rear brake lever. Runs well but will need a tune up and battery. Very pretty bike, come on and give it a good home.

By the way, the fairings are pretty and intact and sitting on my day bed.

You'll have to pick the bike up yourself or arrange shipping. Make me a reasonable offer.

I`d also like to know what size the rims are.
I noticed them before but thought that was a 17" conversion, but accoring to the tires the wheels are 16".

Overall a nice bike and a pity you decided not to keep it.

Don't sell it yet,Park it and let yourself heal. There are plenty of parts bikes around and besides Ducati has been making mechanics out of riders since 1946

Mine is always in an unheated garage and here in Germany it does get cold, but that`s not an issue as long as it`s not humid in the garage.
Pity you`re so far away I`d be interested too. Some things like the custom wheels, footpegs etc make the bike interesting and the overall condition seems to be really nice.

G.

PS: does anyone know from which Duc that sprocket cover originally comes from ?
The front set low (fork coming out of the upper triple clamp could make it an odd ride at speed)
Antti, the wheels seem like from some CBR models, but the rear one says TECHNOMAGNESIO on it so they are aftermarket. Still wonder that there are other 16" wheels at all...
