Well done, your first attempt, so no longer a sauna virgin. You need plenty of time for sauna, here are some hints; http://www.cyberbohemia.com/Pages/usingthesauna.htm

As Antti says, a good sauna needs plenty of ventilation and also plenty of time to go through the heating and cooling cycle.
I think there is really only one solution, you need to go to Finland or come here to New Zealand and we can give instruction. Happy to let you use my sauna.

So, it wasn't a good sauna...
No ventilation, nor Koskenkorva nor Vodka ( :funny: ), the only nice thing was a good wood smell!!!

When I went in Turkey, I made a Turkish bath. Wonderful experience

So, I'm no more virgin, but I need a nicer Finn experience!
