So the area around the fuel cap has started leaking, more of a weeping, after some investigation it would appear it is coming through at the bolts, rather than the outer part of the ring or the seal between the cap and the ring. I replaced the gasket under the outer ring with NOS gasket but not exactly sure it was the right part, the bolt pattern was the same, but the holes maybe a little larger and the rubber curls up slightly once the bolts are tightened. Anyone else had a similar problems? I'm thinking I should start with a gasket I know is the correct part number, anyone know of a source? Any other ideas? Thanks - Gene

Might be the breather pipe that fits to the cap. I had similar problem, that was the cure.
