Greetings, Paso Forum! A couple of people asked about the Corbin seat on my 907, so I thought I'd post more pics for all to see. |

Hi Kurt, indeed, a very nice saddle. ![]() I like the way the flag is stitched in. Is the comfort as good as they say about Corbin? The driver part of my saddle is lowered during new upholstery by the previous owner. But is a very good job, I can get easily put my feet on the ground and it's comfortable enough to stay in the saddle for hours. ducbertus |

Hi Ducbertus, The Corbin is very comfortable, firm, but the right shape for sitting, like a shallow bucket seat. I find the seat kind of wide (well, the Paso is wide), so I touch only toes at a stop, or one foot flat and the other on the peg, whereas I can plant both feet flat with the Monster. One difference between getting a Corbin and having someone local re-do a seat, I think primarily is the ability to mold the seat cover to conform to a concave seat foam. My local guy does great, but the surfaces are either convex, or flat -- no bucket effect at all on the Monster makeover. Sargent also apply the tri-color to their seats, popular here for Monsters, etc., but I don't see one listed for the 907. Sargent is pricey, too, like $500 or so. I paid the local upholstery shop $150 to re-carve the foam and stitch up a new cover for the Monster. Could probably get it done for less, especially outside of metropolitan areas like Boston. Later, Kurt ![]() |

Duc riders around here seem to prefer the Sargent over the Corbin, lighter weight, for one thing, from what I have heard. |
