it`s for sure easier to switch engines than to just try to mount a new fuel injection on a stock 906 engine. I never did this or know anyone who tried, but I`d say what you need is: throttle bodies CDI units wiring maybe pick-ups/flywheel (not sure if these are the same on 906 and 907ie) maybe fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator don`t know if there`s a lamnda sond, but there must be some kind of sensor If the throttle bodies have a different size or shape the 907ie airbox will not fit and then problems will continue. I`m sure this is no "bolt on" job done on one weekend. G. |

Davidhooau (registered here) converted his 906 to efi with a homebrew electronic. His system operates with lambda-sensors greetz ved |

It can be done, and seems, that its easier with 906, (than 750 what is in my mind...) But anyway, is it WISE to do that ??? If U can get all those stuff easily with no money, then it takes only time to do all that job, but if need to buy such stuff, i can imagine, that its "waste of money" to do it. It can be so high priced, that it doubles Your Paso price and who is ready to pay to You such amount of money to buy "injected 906" ??? 907Ie prices are quite same, as all Pasos, so WHY TO DO SUCH? Better to sell 906 and buy 907IE. Thats my opinion only, somebody can think other way... AND what You get, if U convert 906 to injection??? ONLY some hps maybe, some torque? I think, not so "wise". |
