Hello all, here at last are some pics ... it's not pretty but in time it will be much more presentable.
here's how it looked a few hours after delivery... i had taken off the 906 fairings and needed to assess what needed what.
then after i had cleaned the bike as muchas i could without stripping threadsor rounding hex bolts... it looked a little more like this
I have treated as much rust as i can, the next step is a costly one... I have to send the bike to be looked at by a professional ducati restorer/mechanic as the bike has been stood since 1998... I don't want to risk anything going wrong when it's started. So it's going to get a full rebuild... bead blasted and repainted assessed for wear and tear... all that is going to cost about £700.
the mechanic in question is called Paul Klatkiewicz
