, and the handle on the clutch tool is long enough so that the footpeg bracket can be used as a rest thus requiring only the one pair of hands to loosen/tighten the clutch nut . the ring is an old steel plate and the middle leg ( for want of a better name ) is kinked so to support the plate evenly and still allow access for the socket
and the clutch tool ..... Hmm last time I used it was on my SS and I think it just fitted under the bracket rather than the peg itself .... not sure as it was a few years ago now
