Hi all, Had the belts done on the Paso today and a new clutch slave piston put in (yes G, the expensive German one ![]() What is people's experience with different brake pads? Bevel Heaven have a set of 300mm disks with Brembo Gold calipers and a 996 master cylinder which not only looks the business but, I assume, would also improve the braking. I realise that the original F08 calipers will never compare to modern hardware, but I would like to get a brake lever that doesn't come back to the handle bars when you need to stop pretty urgently. Cheers, Mike |

Ken, 320s were my idea, didn`t you want to make floating 280s ? ![]() ![]() I like that design a lot. Actually better than what I`m currently doing, but I`m going for existing brake discs. Do you happen to know how much brake disc carriers wear ? Anyone know ? G. |

If the finances permit, I would like to build the whole disc and adapter package. but that would need the approval of the minister for war and finances and at the moment thats like getting sex, just not happening. ![]() ![]() |

Hi Mike, i currently have EBC pads fitted and the brakes are also pretty poor. Maybe the original brembo compound would be better. i have a warp in one of my discs as well so makes it even worse. I contacted Steve at Bevelheavan last week re same kit you are talking about and he is out of stock of the 300mm discs - hoping to get some 280mm EBC discs in. Also he was not sure the 300mm disc (or the 280mm disc) is a bolt on to the original oscam wheels, looking at it i doubt it too, unless you have changed your wheels. Let us know what you fit. |

Hi all, Helpful info as always ![]() Clive, the Bevel Heaven product info for the 300mm kit says that it is a straight bolt-on on all bikes that had the F08 calipers, such as the 750 F1. I thought that the F1 had the Oscam 16" ones like the Paso but that may not be correct. I do have the rims to change to 17" wheels but they need painting first. Cheers, Mike |
