Post subject: | Recently acquired a Paso |
Hi all, I recently purchased a '87 750 Paso from a friend who was moving and couldn't take it with him. Anyway, I got a really good deal and have a little money to fix it up. It had a valve service last year, and me and him changed the oil, filter, and plugs last month. The problem I've had is trying to find a new front sprocket cover, my friend said it didn't have one when he got it, but it bugs me to death not to have a cover over the sprocket. Also, I've looked over some of the other posts about the tire problem and I definitively needs a new set. Otherwise, the bike runs great and rides like a dream. Anyone have any suggestions on touring tires. If anyone has a spare sprocket cover let me know, I'm in the market. |

Hi, it`ll help to add your location to the profile. The sprocket cover is the same as on early 600/750 Supersports ie http://cgi.ebay.com/DUCATI-750SS-FRONT- ... 2c53a62872 Not that difficult to find. Don`t forget to change the belts depending on when that was done the last time. G. |

So welcome! Don't forget to change timig belts every second year (surely such work has been done with last valve gap adjusting) or the engine will not forgive you! |
