I bought the FZ headlight which was on ebay, now I was wondering if anyone had some hints for installing it.......... everything I found with search was rather old posts that really didn't explain well. |

Reread again... I am not in europe and don't have the euro switch... I suppose ignore the switch mod., and ignore relay #3 and I should be good to go? |

Mike, Witht he dual headlight version, I would take the time to install a relay to feed the power to it. What you would do, is run a direct lead (with a fuse in it) to the battery or starter solenoid (I prefer the solenoid) to fee the 2 lights direct and not thru the original harness. You then use the handlebar switch to manage the relay and tnot the full load. Are you eletrically handy or will you need a drawing and such?? |

if you don`t have the ON/OFF switch you can do w/o relay 3, but you should run a yellow lead from the right headlight to relay 2 otherwise only hi beam will work on the right headlight. G. |

Dual H4's without the relay will melt your ignition switch in short order(pun intended) Take my word for it ![]() |

When i did my dual headlight conversion I used shellboss wiring diagram but modified it a bit, instead of modifying the headlight switch i added an extra swich in the dashbord to be able to run dual or singel lowbeam. By at 2010-02-28 |
