Well...... I bought it for $1500. My brother lives in Florida and is picking it up today. I live in Ky and will be visiting him during bike week to get my bike. I have already purchased most of the parts the bike needs to be road worthy. This will be my second Paso. I had a new 906 back in the early 90s'. Currently, this makes Ducati #6 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Good job. Good price. Good fun. There sure are a lot of really great deals on old odd ducks these days. Play the lotto and wish for the best. Cheers, |

It's not a bad starter that was the issue. It's the crappy wiring. See the 750 FAQ on how to fix it the right way. |

I could not find a new turn signal lens so I bought the whole mirror, turn signal, and lens from eBay. They are available from moto-science.com. but he doesn't carry just the lens. He is a good guy to order from, I forgot to state which mirror I needed and he called me right after I placed my order to get the correct side. He also told me that a GM color ,"torch red", is an exact match for factory paint. Just have to get a starter and battery and I should be good to go on the rescued Paso ![]() ![]() |

Have to remind, that 750 Paso had different red colour compared to 907IE. I dont know 906. ![]() |

Dewey, Sorry to tell you this but the lens is still available from the dealer for $6.00. I bought them last year! This is a good dealer to call: http://www.commoto.com/ Ask for Aldrin in parts and tell him Jon Slocum from DESMO told you to call. I've known him for years. He's a good guy and will steer you right. |

yes, matching paint on an older paint job is always difficult, but REDs are the worst. They have a nasty habit of fading over the years. Matching paint to what it looks like today will result in a mismatch in a few years. posting.php?mode=reply&f=1&t=3834# You are much better off repainting the entire bike, or doing something complimentary. If you are talking about the air scoops, the easiest would be to do something complimentary, like an Italian flag, faux carbon fiber, or just a nice metallic grey. Or just cover it with lots of stickers.posting.php?mode=reply&f=1&t=3834# Cheers, |
