Ok, so I have I cleaned the carbs out, replaced fuel lines and started the bike. I had oiled the cylinders down so some smoke but cleared up. The fuel pump however is pushing fuel out of the overflow vents of the 2 dellorto's. I have a return line and double checked float levels and made sure they were seating. The pump never seams to shut off. Also, the previous owner had carb jets in the fuel line leading to each carb. So maybe he had this problem and thought he was going to fix it. Any suggestions? |

Really??? No pump for dellorto's? I thought the pump was there because the outlet from the tank is lower that the carbs. Here's the deal for today. Re checked float levels and tried my "test" gas tank that hangs like an IV bottle and they don't leak. Then tried it with the pump and they don't leak. I found out the jets in the fuel line were for the emission system from the canister to the carb, the previous owner used it as thefuel lines. Now I just need to adjust the carbs so it will idle properly. And yes I am still thinking about making it naked. ![]() |

Had a Monster. No money in the budget for a new bike. So the freebee Paso fits the bill. ![]() |

Thanks again for the help. I also got a 4 x 8 sheet of aluminum to start cutting up to see what I can come up with as a naked aluminum tanked and faired paso. I'll probably need a new leather bag and malletbu the time i'm done. |

You can remove it if you wish. The Dell's work great with just a gravity feed. |

if you have Mikunis keep the fuel pump and the return line also. (an extra pressure regulator is also not needed) G. |
