Hi, new to the forum but not to Ducatis. I'm a Brit living near Atlanta GA and have a collection of Ducati street and race bikes. I also have a 87 750 Paso Limited , in original white which I only bought a few months ago, its pretty much original with 5k miles but has a few cracks here and there. This is my fouth Paso that I have owned the first one back in 87 when I lived in the UK and was my first Ducati along with a 89 900 Sport a few yrs later. Its been awhile since I got the urge to get another one as I have spent most of my Ducati riding on 748, 916, 999R, MTS etc. I am turning back to my roots and really enjoying the older Ducatis too. I also have a 888 and 851. |

Yes I have a large collection of bikes! This week I am picking up a 1990 851 which I used to own many years ago and now buying back. It may become a project as I have already bought a S4R motor kit and swingarm. I may transform it into a more modern handling, power but with the classic looks of an early Ducati |

I'm pretty sure the S4R engine doesn't fit into the 851's frame. That engine is wider than the 851/888, so you'll have to machine it. I'd let the stock engine... Ciao |

Welcome to the gang; I think you'll find this to be the best site on the net for anythig Paso. I am also in the Atlanta area and oddly, also have a white LTD. Now that is a small world. Perhaps you'll let me tour your collection??? Sounds quite nice. Tom |

WhitePaso, In general any vehicle produce in September or beyond is considered the next model year. It's like fashion, always a bit ahead of the real calendar. Cheers, |
