Hello to everyone here, I have been reading through a bit of this forum and must say it has already been an invaluable source of knowledge, thank you all. I have owned my paso for about 5 weeks now and am loving every minute of it. She's an early '87 model vin# 750915, and so far has been extremely kind to me.I look forward to many years of good times. Regards Ernst. ![]() |

Amphilex, Welcome to the site, it's a great resource. So, where in NZ are you? Fraser. |

Possibly but unlikely as most of my rides over the last month or two have been over to the Wairarapa (good empty roads). The coast is just a bit too busy. Where did you get the Paso from? Fraser. |

Fraser, Hamilton, 3 owners, 2 really 1st guy only had her for a year and did 85k (?) maybe he just brought her into NZ to on-sell. The next owner had her for 17 years and did only 17000k, but lived in UK for 8 years and hence sat in the shed not being used, The chap I bought her from, 3yrs and 5000 k, he went to a harley, grand total 22000k+600 hamilton to blen! If you were watching Trade Me, it was the one avertised for $6500, which is what I paid, seems a litlle too much, until you see the condition. I had Rob Johns around the other day (local guru) and he was quite impressed, either way I'm happy as a pig in muck ,cos I got the one I wanted, and she's in tip top shape, minus a couple of minors. Oil temp sender doesn't work, neither does the clock, everything else is stock exept for the cans. I have not yet taken any pictures but as soon as I get time ,and some sun ,I will post one on my profile ![]() |

Amphilex, Sounds great; the price is right if you got what you expected and are happy. Fraser. |

Welcome aboard ! Lots of fun to be had (plus some frustration) but come summer and your belting thru the Lewis Pass with a grin from ear to ear - it will be worth it. Tony Christchurch |
