Post subject:  Please call Michelin

Hello fellow Ducati owners, I need your help!
Since Michelin has (discontinued) our "favorite" tires A59x/M59x Hi-Sports we should mobilize! Please call Michelin customer service and advise them you need them to build tires for your bike! If Michelin knows how many of our Ducatis are still around maybe they could produce a couple hundred sets or so?
Just a thought!
Here is Michelin's USA customer service phone 800-847-3435 the young lady I spoke with was as helpful as possible, so please speak up!
eh

Hello everyone. I just got off the phone with michelin, and she was helpful somewhat, but she said it would take an act of god to reproduce the m59x. They are now using the mold for the m59x for a super motard rear tire in a 170-60-17 rear tire. I think we need to light a fire under them to show them that there are enough pasos on the road to merit a need for the tire we would all like back.

hey guys, i work at renaissance motorcycles in Tucson, Arizona and I'm trying to help a customer find some tires that do work for his 750 sport. The M59x and A59x are done. There is one website that sells them still (onlineparts.com), but almost no businesses will install tires that you did not purchase through them and their distributors. Anywho, have any of you changed your rims to 17" rims without altering anything else? are there other tires that fit these rims other than the stock size? Please help us keep this 750 sport rider going. What can we do? :phone: please don't make our customer :suicide:

Hi guys I e-mailed michelin in australia as there seems to be no new zealand branch, but they didn't even bother to respond back. What do you all think is the consensus, as to if someone (anyone) will eventually manufacture tyres in the sizes we need....at this stage I am reluctant to mess with my bike, in the hope that one day by some miracle we I can get the right size......Crazy.

Called today. The rep I talked with said what we already know:
Every call helps because they look at these requests often,
That right now they have nothing planned,
Right now they have nothing in the right size.

I have a sweet bike that I can't ride. :suicide: %*&#$&^%#@*&^$(!!!!!
