| Post subject: | Exporting a Paso to australia |
A bit of a long shot but I was wondering if any of you have ever exported a Paso to australia. Been over here 3 years and have decided that the bike has to come over now. It can no longer sit in my fathers garage and ridden once a year when I go back. Anyway, just wondering if the bike is compliant for australian roads and if not how much work is required to make it so. Thanks in advance. |

Hawkesy, I think you'll probably get the the kind of information you need more quickly from a Harley dealer. I have found some of them are quite partial to Pasos, on account of them being low, comfortable, and torquey. But I'd say, just do it. As we say in his part of the world, 'She'll be right, mate!' :thumbup: |

Could be a problem, you will need an ADR plate on the frame (Australian Design Rules) and I don't know if they give exemptions. Talk to your local motor registry or if in New South Wales find a mechanic who can issue "blue slips". |
